Suitable for molten glass temperature measurement and glass surface measurement, the non-contact pyrometer is a 2 wire digital pyrometer with digital and analog outputs to allow remote communication and simple installation. The fibre optic cable can handle ambient temperature up to 250°C without water cooling. Suitable for applications including furnace crown, furnace sidewall, fore hearth, feeder and working end. An accessory suitable for 450 G-2 is an air purge unit to help keep the optical lens clean and mounting system provides support to the pyrometer.
