General purpose terminal head construction materials include Aluminium, Bakelite (thermoplastic), Polypropylene, Stainless Steel, and Cast Iron. Standard terminal blocks are manufactured in both ceramic and Bakelite with either 2, 3, 4, or 6 terminals. Spring-loaded terminal blocks are available with either 4, 6, or 8 terminals.

Explosion proof (Ex ‘d’) terminal heads are also available, and are covered in a separate catalogue sheet.
